Best treats ever!
I have the worlds pickiest dog! Cocoa (full Chocolate Silk Havanese) will eat anything and the other, Cookie, a Havanese /Lhasa Apso turns her nose up to almost everything and would rather go hungry! Until these treats! And believe me when I tell you we’ve tried ALL the treats! From gourmet shops, specialty pet stores, and all the box box stores we’ve spared no expense in finding something Cookie would like! These chicken jerky treats are incredible! I’ve not yet had a dog over who refused them, no dog has had any adverse effects by them, even our neighbor’s diabetic dog and another one with pancreatitis! So, they’re made in the USA with 100% white meat chicken and they actually smell really good. When I get the bag, I immediately open it and cut the jerky in small treat sized pieces for my small dogs. It easier to do when it’s freshly opened as it’s still quite pliable and soft. This makes it easier to dole out. It then goes into the fridge to keep fresh, but it does get a bit harder. It must be refrigerated or it will get moldy after a while (if it lasts that long!!). Trust me, spend the extra money on this high quality jerky - you won’t be disappointed!!

These are simply the best. I have purchased many many chicken, and duck breast/ jerky over the years for my Pom. He is super picky and important to me. The last time he got sick on a jerky from china I was done. I found these, you have to keep them in fridge you don’t get as many as all these giant packs made in china but the quality it bar none. My Pom eats every bit, it’s easy to chew, he likes it and no issues. Great quality, clean, pliable (cold when you take out of fridge but my Pom loves that!) I will keep buying.

These are great chicken treats! Like another reviewer, I gave our dog Tucker chicken treats until they stopped selling cooked food. These are the best replacement I've found, and are possibly better than Tucker - plus there are more flavors. Our dog loves these, and even our ancient cat loved them! Our dog still acts like a "starving shelter dog", but he's also diabetic and should only have treats that are 100% meat and not full of junk. You can see from the packaging that these are natural cuts of meat. They're soft and chewy, so it's easy to cut them into smaller pieces with kitchen scissors and I'm not worried that he's going to get a shard of jerky stuck in his throat no matter how fast he wolfs it down. They come vacuum sealed and need to be refrigerated after they're opened (the vacuum packaging with an outer storage bag is genius), but there are clear instructions on the package. Sure, they won't last forever in the fridge, but you can also split them into smaller quantities and freeze some of them. I'm so glad that the search for new treats is over!

My little senior Pekingese is very fussy. She only likes jerky treats and none of the chopped and formed or flavored types. They cannot be too hard or dry. I have found other good quality jerky but it is usually just too hard for her to eat, or is not readily available any more. I have wasted a lot of money on things she just will not eat. These are excellent. Chicken is the only ingredient. They are pliable and easier for her to chew. She loves them. I can tear or cut them into smaller pieces and the bag will last longer without any waste.

These treats develop mold if not refridgerated. Other harder jerky treats can be stored in a covered container outside refridgeration without going bad. I was surprised when I opened the container this morning and saw mold on most of the treats. Now I am going to keep them in a sealed plastic bag in a refridgerator and hope that they will last. The texture is much softer than harder jerky treats which might be why they can go bad.

My two dogs loved these, but my concern was how chewy they were...every time I gave one to my little dogs they would gag while trying to chew them up. I ended up breaking them into tiny pieces every time I fed them to my dogs for fear of them getting choked on them.

I bought these because they were made in the USA and were all natural. I opend the first of the three purchased bags and it looked exactly as I had thought - and my dog LOVED them. I put them in a Giant sized zip-loced baggie to make sure they stayed "fresh" - by the end of the bag I noticed that the remaining slices had mold all over them. I just opened a fresh bag and have now put the giant zip lock baggie in the fridge. That should solve the problem. So for taste 10 - maintenance 3.
